ELK GROVE, CA – On November 29, 2008 at 5:34 a.m., the Elk Grove Police Department responded to an attempted armed robbery that had just occurred at the Chevron Gas Station located at 9615 West Taron Drive .

An unidentified subject (photos attached) approached a clerk inside the gas station, displayed a silver semi-automatic pistol and demanded money. The clerk told the suspect that he didn’t have any money. The armed suspect then fled the store in an unknown direction without receiving any money. The subject was described as a Hispanic or Filipino male, twenty years of age (20), five feet two inches tall (5’2”), medium build with short hair. The suspect was wearing a dark cap, a gray hooded sweatshirt with red lining, a white t-shirt and gray sweatpants. The suspect pictured below was also responsible for a similar robbery at a gas station in Galt on November 29, 2008.
