Suspect Arrested For Passing Phony-Money

39 year-old Lisa Ann Arredondo was arrested early Sunday morning on suspicion of passing counterfeit currency.

According to Elk Grove police reports, Arredondo attempted to make a purchase at the McDonald's on Elk Grove Blvd. using a counterfeit $20 bill. Police were able to determine the bill was counterfeit.

Upon further investigation, police discovered another counterfeit bill as well as narcotics paraphernalia. Arredondo was arrested and transferred to the county jail.
