Cops Catch Car Crooks

Elk Grove Police catch early morning car burglars


Elk Grove Police arrested two suspected burglars early this morning following the burglary of a car on the 8900 block of El Mirador Way.

According to police reports, officers responded to a burglary in progress just before 2:00 AM. A witness told officers that a silver vehicle was possibly involved in the crime.

Police check vehicles in the area and located a silver Honda and a white Honda and stopped both vehicles in separate locations and detained the drivers. Officers located stolen goods and burglary tools in the silver Honda.

Police arrested suspects Omar Zambrano and Jesus Rodriguez and transferred to the county jail. The officers also discovered the white Honda was stolen.
