An Elk Grove adult male and Sacramento juvenile male were arrested yesterday on suspicion of an armed robbery on Elk Grove Blvd. on Wednesday afternoon.

According to police reports, late Wednesday afternoon Michael Matthews and several friends were walking along Elk Grove Blvd. near Cresleigh Pkwy. when a vehicle occupied by the two suspects pulled along side them, pointed a black revolver and demanded property. Matthews gave the duo his baseball cap and the vehicle left.

A witness was able to obtain the plate number and reported it to police. Through investigative efforts, officers were able to indentify the two suspects and served warrants for the arrests of 18-year old Chase Underwood and a 17-year old juvenile male.

The juvenile was the driver of the vehicle and brandished the revolver. Underwood was transferred to the county jail and the youth to juvenile hall.

This will be the outcome of this particular case...Chase Underwood, an adult under the law, will get the juvenile to plead to all of the charges and assume the blame because nothing happens to juveniles...Underwood is from a rich and influential Elk Grove family who has parks named after them and because of that, he'll walk and thumb his nose at the rest of us and do something else illegal. Money will pour out of the woodwork to pay his bail and to make sure he's comfortable. We should also be aware that he contributed to the delinquency of a minor...another crime...but the teflon darling will just walk away and chuckle...just watch for the disposition of the case...mark my words.

the minor in this case is actually being charged as an adult and being charged with various other things..so just because the Underwoods have "money" doesnt mean a thing, i dont think it was right what happened but i dont think the actions of one person should put the whole family in a negative light.
