A teenage girl was the victim of an armed robbery last night as she walked home with a friend on the 10000 block of Lofton Way.

According to police reports, the victims were approached from behind by two teenage suspects. One suspect pointed a gun demanding the cell phone and the other suspect grabbed the victim and took the device.

Both suspects fled on foot after throwing the victim to the ground.

The suspects are described as black teenage males 15 to 18 years of age. The hand gun suspect was wearing a white-t-shirt with cut-off sleeves and red shorts. The other suspect was wearing a black long sleeved shirt, dark colored jeans with his hair in dreadlocks.

Awareness for people to realize this kind of thing is happening and coming up with a way for police to notify the public faster so that citizens can become the eyes and ears of the police. A news report the next day does nothing for the poor person who is attacked after the first girl!!
