Elk Grove Youth Home Staff Member Threatened With Knife

A staff member of a group home for boys in Elk Grove was physically threatened by a resident last night.

According to police reports, the 15 year-old suspect was in a verbal argument with a staff member. After the staff member refused to let the youth leave the facility, the suspect brandished a knife and left the residence.

When the youth returned, he was taken into custody and transferred to juvenile hall.
