Elk Grove Police arrested a Rancho Cordova lady yesterday afternoon for theft of baby diapers and beer.
According to police reports, 48-year old suspect Judith Labarbera was witnessed by an employee exiting the Bel Air grocery store on Elk Grove-Florin and Calvine without paying for the merchandise. The total value of the beer and diapers was $172.
Police also discovered that Labarbera was on probation and had an outstanding warrant for the theft of a personal computer. Police report she admitted to the theft and was transferred to the county jail.

Chances are she has been hitting a lot more Bel Air's then the one on Calvine. In this economy more then just someone with a record or a warrant are breaking the law I'm sure. Look at Wall Street. There are more then a few people of authority in Rancho Cordova, Galt Elk Grove and Sacramento that break the law daily. Let's give a mom who took diapers and beer a break.
