Three men were arrested early this morning after they allegedly burglarized a popular Elk Grove donut shop.

According to police reports, the 18-year old men broke the front glass door of JR Donuts on Elk Grove-Florin Road and stole the cash register containing an undisclosed amount of money and several food items. Police located a suspicious vehicle at a nearby business complex and conducted an enforcement shop.

The suspects were found to be in possession of the stolen goods in the car. Arrested were Ross Daniels, Kenneth Corfield and Joseph Vanhecka. The suspects are residents of Sacramento and Antelope.

The three were transferred to the county jail. Donuts from the popular shop were not among the reported stolen food items.

Other arrests

Among other arrests yesterday were one for an outstanding warrant and a domestic violence incident.

In the domestic violence case, the victim was punched in the mouth that resulted in a tooth being knocked out. The suspect was arrested and transferred to the county jail.
