Elk Grove Police Arrests Four Juveniles, Adult On Weapons Charges

Elk Grove Police arrested four male juveniles and one adult male late Friday night on weapons and narcotics charges.

The arrests followed a vehicle code violation stop on the 9100 block of Elk Grove-Florin Road. A records check found that the adult suspect, 19-year old Dakaral Baldwin of Sacramento and one of the juvenile suspects, a 16-year old also from Sacramento, were on searchable probation.

A search of the vehicle revealed two loaded handguns and a search of a 16-year old suspect from Citrus Heights revealed a small bag of marijuana and ammunition. A records checked showed that neither handgun had been registered.

Baldwin was transferred to the county jail and the four juveniles were taken to juvenile hall.
