18-Year Old Elk Grove Man Arrested For Domestic Violence

An 18-year old Elk Grove resident was arrested early this morning following a domestic violence incident.

According to police reports, suspect DeAngelo Womack was involved in a verbal argument that turned physical. Womack allegedly punched and kicked his victim several times in the stomach and face causing visibly injuries.

Womack was arrested and transferred to the county jail and the victim was issued an emergency protective order.

Other Weekend arrests

Elk Grove Police also made the following arrest this weekend:

- 29-year old Jerray Brown of Sacramento was arrested on suspicion of driving a stolen car.

- Two Sacramento residents, 20 year old Shavvone Moses and 19-year old Lanita Pettis were arrested were arrested Friday night on suspicion of shoplifting at the Elk Grove Wal Mart.

- 25-year old suspect Victor Harmen of Elk Grove waas arrested Friday night for driving a stolen car.

- 46-year old Andre King of Sacramento was arrested early Saturday morning on suspicion of D.U.I.

- 21-year old Ruejava Route of Elk Grove was arrested early Monday morning on suspicion of D.U.I.
