Next week's Elk Grove City Council meeting and pre-meeting rally has the potential to draw several hundred people. As a simple matter of logistics, the following e-mail was sent to the city manager, city clerk, public information officer, police chief and all council members.

By providing this information to the public prior to the rally and meeting, hopefully people wanting to participate in the important matter will not be turned away for a lack of parking or viewing areas.

EGN will post information regarding the logistic questions as it is made available.

Good Evening,

I have a few questions regarding logistics for next week's city council meeting.

As you know several hundred people could show up for the rally and the meeting.

1.) Has there been any considerations given to placing the SOI matter near the top of the agenda?

2.) Will there be an overflow room aside from the lobby provided? If so, where will it be?

3.) Do you plan to limit the number of speakers on the SOI matter? Will you decrease public comments from three minutes to a smaller increment?

4.) Will there be an overflow parking area pre-designated? If so where will it be?

4.) Are there any extra security measures being taken?

5.) Do you plan to have any specific advance media releases addressing logistical matters?

I realize question three can probably only be answered by the council once it is in session.

Thank you.

Well done! I'll look forward to seeing what the City's preparations look like for this Rally, Press Conference and City Council Meeting; relative to what has passed before...
