Police Catch Shoplifter at Elk Grove Wal-Mart

Elk Grove Police report the arrest of a suspected shoplifter yesterday at the Elk Grove Wal-Mart.

According to police reports, 26-year old Brian Johnson of Elk Grove was observed shoplifting by store loss prevention personnel. The suspect exited the store without making any attempt to purchase the concealed merchandise.

When Johnson was confronted by store personnel, he ran away on foot. Responding police officers arrived and took the suspect into custody who was then transferred to the county jail.
