Two Elk Grove juveniles were arrested yesterday morning after robbing their victim at gunpoint.

According to police reports, the teenage male victim was walking on the 10200 block of Melbenji Drive when a vehicle pulled along side him. A 14-year old male suspect exited the car and demanded the victim’s belongings.

When the victim refused, the suspect removed a chrome semi-automatic from his pocket and demanded the property. Fearing for his safety, the victim gave his cell phone.

The 14-year old suspect then entered the car and the other suspect, a 16-year old drove away. A short time later an officer observed a vehicle matching the description given by the victim.

When the driver parked the vehicle in a public lot, officers made contact with the vehicles occupants. A third person inside the vehicle was found to be on a searchable probation.

A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a loaded chrome semi-automatic handgun inside a hidden compartment. The victim’s cell phone was also found inside the vehicle.

Both suspects were arrested and transferred to juvenile hall.

"chrome semi-automatic" - sounds like another ghetto rat from Oakland or Richmond is on the prowl.
