EG City Council flip-flops, decides not to request Sac Grand Jury investigation of council member Pat Hume

The Elk Grove City Council decided earlier tonight to not request a Sacramento County Grand Jury investigation into allegations that council member Pat Hume threatened an Elk Grove citizen.

By a three-to-one vote, the council decided to drop the matter. Mayor Sophia Scherman, Vice Mayor Steve Detick and council member Gary Davis to voted to drop the request while Jim Cooper voted to against the motion during a tense session.
