An Elk Grove gas station employee was attacked by a customer early Friday morning.

According to police reports, 44-year old Mont Williams of Elk Grove was involved in an argument with an employee at the Chevron gas station located on Sheldon Road. As the 45-year old female victim left the market and entered the passenger area of a vehicle, she was confronted by Williams who allegedly attacked her with the pepper spray.

The victim suffered minor injuries. The suspect was arrested and transferred to the county jail.

Shoplifter picked up for probation violation

Police also report the arrest of 26-year old Ryan Stanphill of Sacramento.

According to police reports Stanphill was detained by Home Deport store personnel Home Depot after an alleged shoplifting incident. A record check reveal the Stanphill was on an active parole.

The suspect was arrest for burglary and parole violations and transported to the Rio Cosumnes correctional Center.
