A man attempting to sell three cell phone was attacked by a man posing as a would-be purchaser last night.

According to Elk Grove Police reports, the seller of three cell phones agreed to meet the supposed purchaser at a parking lot on the 7400 block of Laguna Boulevard. When the victim arrived at the designated point, he did not initially see the suspect.

As the victim was walking, he was jumped by the suspect who began punching and kicking the victim. The suspect then took the victim’s car keys and began searching his car.

Several people noticed the incident and came to victims aid as the suspect fled the area. The suspect was last seen driving a two-door Red Honda Accord and is described as a Hispanic Male, in his 20’s 5’7” tall, 150 lbs with black hair and tattoos near his neck.
