Brewer, Lozano win CCSD seats

In a very close three-way race for two seats being vacated on the Cosumnes Community Services District Board of Directors, Rod Brewer and Rich Lozano appear to be the winners.

Based on semi-official results posted late yesterday afternoon, Brewer is in first place with 17,613 votes and Richa Lozano is in second with 16,741. Lozano edged out former four-term CCSD director Doug McElroy's 16,619 votes. Coming in fourth place was Clifford Loveland who gathered 6,986 votes.
