Elk Grove Police apprehended three suspects Wednesday morning who were caught as they were burglarizing a residence.

According to police reports, patrol officers responded to a call regarding suspicious activity on the 8900 block of the El Oro Plaza. Upon arrival, offices contacted 50-year old Michael Martin of Elk Grove and 42-year old Christopher Deherrera of Sacramento who were parked in vehicle in a nearby alley.

Officers also located 45-year old Terry Yeckley of Sacramento who was exiting a nearby residence. Officers determined that Yeckley did not live at the residence and did not have permission to be inside the home.

It was determined that Yeckley was in the company of Martin and Deherrera who had already been detained. A search of duffle bag in Yeckley's possession revealed stolen property from the residence. All three suspects were arrested and transferred to the county jail.
