During Wednesday night's regular meeting of the Cosumnes Community Services District (CCSD) Rod Brewer and Rich Lozano were sworn in as the board's two new elected directors.
Brewer and Lozano finished first and second respectively in a close four way race that was not determined for several days following the November 2 general election. The two new directors replace Elaine Wright and Keith Grueneberg who decided against seeking reelection.
In other business, directors Michelle Orrock and Guy Rutter wereas the board's President and Vice President for the coming year, heard a presentation from firefighter Julie Rider on the district's Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program and unanimously approved a staff recommendation to dispose of a fire department storage facility in Galt.
