An Elk Grove man was robbed Saturday afternoon after making a contact on an unspecified social networking site.

According to police reports, the 41-year old victim invited a woman he met on a social networking site to his apartment on the 8600 block of Elk Grove Boulevard. The unidentified women brought another female friend with her and showed up at 4:00 a.m.

Both women left the apartment at approximately 1:00 p.m. and the victim decided to go to sleep. Shortly after their departure, the victim was awaken by two unidentified male Hispanic males who entered the apartment and displaying a handgun and demanding money.

After giving an undisclosed amount of of cash, the suspects tied up the victim and proceeded to removed other property from the apartment. The suspects then fled the residence in an unknown direction.

Upon investigation, it appears the two robbery suspects were working with the tow women who visited the victim. The victim was not injured during the robbery.
