The City of Elk Grove will hold a community workshop at City Hall tonight to gather public input on the City’s newly-drafted Climate Action Plan (CAP) and General Plan Sustainability Element.

Participants will have the opportunity to comment on ways the City is proposing to address climate change, air quality, energy efficiency, community health and other components of sustainability.

“The goals and actions that will be outlined in these documents are intended to support a healthy and sustainable future for our City,” Mayor Steven Detrick said. “As always, we will be looking to the community to guide us in shaping these important policies.”

The meeting will be held in the city council chamber at city hall and is scheduled to run from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
