Three men were arrested early Thursday morning following a disturbance at the Bull Wings restaurant located on E. Stockton Boulevard.

According to police reports, officer were called to the restaurant after a 47-year old male was attacked and cut in the forehead with a knife and the suspect had left the establishment. Officers located 24-year old Jefferey Ruthersford in a field south of the restaurant. The victim was able to positively identify the suspect as the person who cut him.

The other two suspects, 24-year old Tysen Smith and 24-year old Kevin Byfield, both of Sacramento, were also detained by officers. A records check revealed that Smith had an active arrest warrant and that Byfield displayed objective signs of impairment.

All three suspects were arrested and transferred to the county jail.
