Five suspects return day later for another fight
A fight that was broken up between two teens was reignited last night that led to the arrest of five suspects.
According to Elk Grove Police, 18-year-old Diamond Fulgham of Rancho Cordova and 19-year old Thomas Ewing of Elk Grove were involved were involved in a fight on Sunday. At the time both men decided against pursuing prosecution.
Yesterday, however, Fulgham and four other suspects went to a residence on the 8100 block of Wyndwillow Way and challenged Ewing to a fight. Ewing and none of the occupants of the residence went outside.
One of the five suspects then broke two windows on the residence’s garage door and left the area. Once again the suspects returned and challenged Ewing to a fight.
One of the suspects threatened to shoot Ewing and another was swinging a bat around. The occupants called the Elk Grove Police.
The suspects then got in their car and drove on the residence’s lawn causing significant damage. After leaving the scene, responding officers located the vehicle and detained the suspects in the parking lot of Home Depot.
After positively indentifying the suspects, police arrested Fulgham and 23-year old Cedric Blackwell, 18-year-old Brittany August and 24-year-old Markas Fulgham, all of a Sacramento. Also arrested was a 17-year-old female juvenile from Rancho Cordova.
All the adult suspects were transferred to the county jail and the juvenile was issued a citation and released to a parent.
