A Sacramento lady was arrested early Thursday morning after she tried tricking a cashier at the high-volume grocery store.
According to Elk Grove Police, 31-year old Lakiva DeVore attempted to purchase groceries with a fraudulent check. Upon arrival of officers, the suspect was detained and found to be in possession of California state identification card that did not belong to her.
To top things off, officers also discovered that DeVore was on probation. DeVore was arrested and transferred to the county jail.
