An Elk Grove man accused of drunk driving ran into an obstacle as he tried to evade law enforcement early Thursday morning.
According to Elk Grove Police reports, 24-year old Marcos Arriaga was observed driving erratically near Bond and Elk Grove-Florin roads bye a Sacramento County Sheriff's Deputy. When the deputy attempted to conduct a vehicle stop, Arriaga reportedly did not stop for approximately eight of a mile.
Arriage eventually stopped due to the road being blocked by a passing-by train. After Elk Grove Police officers responded, the suspect was found to be displaying objective signs of impairment and was arrested.
