Four teenaged boys were arrested yesterday afternoon after they reportedly stole merchandise from two Elk Grove retail stores.
According to Elk Grove Police, officers were dispatched to the Famous Footwear store on E. Stockton Blvd regarding four teenaged boys who had stolen merchandise. Officers were able to locate and detain the four at the nearby Toys R' Us store.
The four Sacramento suspects, to aged 14 and two aged 15, were found to be in possession of merchandise stolen from Toys R Us. One of the 14-year-olds was was also in possession of a pair of shoes that had been stolen from the Famous Footwear store.
The four suspected shoplifters were taken into custody then transported to juvenile hall.
