Elk Grove mayoral candidate Jerry Braxmeyer

During the first six months of the 2012 election season, Elk Grove mayoral candidate Jerry Braxmeyer raised $14,321.

In addition to the direct contributions, Braxmeyer also received loans totaling $8,599. The candidate loaned his campaign $3,000 and another loan of $5,099 came from Karla Braxmeyer.

Braxmeyer's largest contribution was $5,500 that came from the Law Offices of Timothy O' Connor of Elk Grove. Other notable contributions Braxmeyer received were $250 from Cosumnes Community Services District Director Richard Lozano, $500 from Bell Brothers and $500 from Hanford Ready Mix.

Braxmemyer and six other candidates are competing to become Elk Grove's first directly elected mayor in the November general election.



During the period Braxmeyer ended with a cash balance of $10,357 after spending $11,503. The campaign spent $5,214 with Alied Strategy Group of Sacramento.

Wow he raised more than Sophia did for her "assembly" race.

Not nearly enough to compete with all of Davis' developer money but it should be enough to send one mail piece out to tell voters who he is.
