Witness intervenes, suspect urinates in public
Two Elk Grove mothers were arrested late last night after they were literally witnessed being falling down drunk.
According to Elk Grove Police, officers responded to the 5100 block of Laguna Blvd. after a witness called about two intoxicated women who had exited a vehicle with two children. The witness said they saw 27-year old Jessica Newman fall down as she and the other suspect, 30-year old Monica Bruno, who drove the car, walk with two children aged five and seven into a store.
According to the witness, Newman pulled up her dress then urinated in front of the store. Officers arrived and contacted both suspects (Elk Grove residents) after they had exited the store and were at their vehicle which had been blocked in by the witness.
Both suspects displayed objective signs of impairment and officers determined that Bruno had driven Newman and the two children to this location. Bruno performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested while Newman was arrested for public intoxication.
Both suspect remain in custody on additional charges of endangering children. Both children were taken into protective custody.

Two classy Elk Grove ladies.
Whatever happened to Elk Grove and its good citizens? All I read in this blog are all the bad stuff going on. No good stuff to talk about? Or is that for other newspapers and blogs to talk about?
This site seems to get a several visitors from the Indian Village neighborhood in Detroit!
