Bera Extends Lead Over Lungren

Dr. Ami Bera now leads incumbent Congressman Dan Lungren by 51.41 to 48.59 percent of the popular vote.

According to the just released figures from the Sacramento County Voters Registrar, Democrat Ami Bera has extended his lead over incumbent Republican Dan Lungren in the fight for California's Seventh Congressional District.

The current tally shows that Bera now has a lead of 5,696 votes over Lungren. On Tuesday Bera led Lungren by 3,824 votes. Bera now has 130,566 votes or 51.41 percent to Lungren's 124,870.
