An unique open government sunshine initiative on the ballot in Dixon, Calif. was rejected by voters Tuesday.

Proposal N, which was placed on the Solano County city's ballot, sought to increase transparency. The anti-N proponents reportedly spent $15,000 compared to $1,000 for its backers.
