An Elk Grove pizzeria was robbed by an armed gunman early last night.
According to Elk Grove Police, the unknown suspect entered the Little Ceasers Pizza on Elk Grove Blvd. where he grabbed a plastic bag and placed an order. As the employee processed the order, the suspect brandished a handgun and demanded money from the cash register.
The employee complied and placed an undisclosed amount of cash in the plastic bag. The suspect was observed getting into a gray mini-van in the parking lot and was last seen driving westbound on Elk Grove Blvd.
Responding officers were unable to lcoate the suspect or the vehicle. The suspect was described black male adult, 6 feet tall, wearing a baseball hat, blue jacket, black shirt and blue jeans.
