Elk Grove Police arrested five people who were suspected of stealing from several Home Depot stores.
According to police reports, officers responded to an in-progress theft at the Home Depot store located on W. Stockton Blvd late Friday afternoon. Loss prevention personnel observed five suspects placing cooper wire inside vanities they had paid for.
According to loss prevention staff, these suspects were responsible for similar thefts at several other Home Depot stores. Officers detained 27-year old Emmanuel Perez and 32-year old Raul Aguilar, both of Los Angeles, as they were loading the vanities near the store's exit.
Three other suspects, 46-year old Rudy Franco, 23-year old Yvonne Zapata, both of Los Angeles and 29-year old Jaldor Rodriguez of Alhambra, Calif., were detained as they left the store. Another unknown suspect fled the area on foot and was not apprehended.
A search of the cargo truck led to the discovery of stolen merchandise. The five suspects were arrested and taken to the county jail.

They must have come up from LA to hit Stockton and got lost!
THEY DO THIS IN LOS ANGELES ALL THE TIME STEALING COPPER WIRE FROM STREET LIGHTS SO THE DWP HAS TO COME OUT AND REPLACE THE COPPER WIRE SO WE CAN HAVE LIGHT.SOME OF THESE RETARTED CRIMINALS HAVE BEEN ELECTROCUTED. THEY ARE UN CIVILIZED.
