Aside from the attempt to take drunk drivers off the road, the DUI and license checkpoint conducted Saturday night by Elk Grove Police resulted in the arrests of two suspects with outstanding warrants.

The first suspected arrested was 37-year old Iran Rogers of Elk Grove. Aside from driving on a suspended license, the suspect had a previous misdemeanor DUI arrest warrant. Rogers is being held at the county jail on $26,482 bail.

Police also arrested 31-year old Felix Ramos Jr. of Elk Grove after a license check revealed there were two outstanding arrest warrants for him. Ramos remains in custody on unspecified bail and is not eligible for bail.
