Elk Grove Teenage Girl Mugged in Park

A 14-year old girl was mugged early Monday evening by two unknown suspects.

According to Elk Grove Police, the victim was walking through Schauer Park on the 101000 block of Frank Gregg Way when she was approached by two unknown suspects who were riding bicycles. The suspects grabbed the victim's iPhone from her hand and knocked her down.

The two suspects fled on bicycles and responding offiers were unable to locate them. The victim did not sustain injuries.

Both suspects were described as black juvenile males wearing black shirts and wore their hair in dreads.
