A person identifying himself as Jim White, a declared candidate for the District Two seat of Elk Grove City Council, has responded to criticisms of his early campaign strategy.

White, who unsuccessfully ran against then council member and current Elk Grove Mayor Gary Davis, posted a mea culpa on EGN this evening regarding his opponent, District 2 Council Member Pat Hume. White's comments can be viewed here

Good thing he retracted his comments before Hume's goons went on the counter-attack.

Thanks for showing us who you are, Mr. White. Please show yourself out.

Glad to see the "older" generation admitting when they've done wrong. A good example for Ms. Gattan and her generation.

I do agree we need new blood on the council and if Mr. White is competent, I'm willing to give him a try.
