Fundraiser This Friday For Elk Grove Teen With Rare Condition

A spaghetti feed fundraiser will be held this Friday, November 1 for an Elk Grove girl suffering from a rare condition.

The dinner is to benefit the Lauren Montee Bone Marrow Transplant Fund. Young Lauren suffers from a condition known as Aplastic Anemia.

The event will be held at the Cosumnes Oak High multi-purpose room from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets for a spaghetti dinner that includes salad, bread, desert and a drink are $20 for adults and $10 for under-12.

In addition, there will be a silent auction that includes trips to Las Vegas and Hawaii and raffles tickets for gift baskets.
