A man offering to give money for food last night became the target of an attempted robbery.

According to Elk Grove Police, the victim was in his car in a parking lot on the 8400 block of Elk Grove Blvd. when he was approached by several juvenile males. One of the juveniles asked for a dollar to purchase food and the victim obliged.

The same juvenile then asked for another dollar and as the victim was opening his wallet, the suspect reached into the car and attempted to grab the wallet from the victim's hand.

The victim was able to hold onto his wallet and the juveniles ran away. Responding officers were unable to locate the suspects and victim did not sustain any loss.

Anything happy or good to report in Elk Grove anymore? Sounds like officials are no good, residents are either victimized or victimize others, stores closing down, "abando" parties (did the term originate here?) abound...."stronger neighborhoods" really mean "keep bashing your public officials"...What up?

And everyone's name is Anonymous....or a faux name...
