Elk Grove Woman Robbed, Bound In her Bedroom

An Elk Grove woman was awakened from her sleep last night by two unknown robbers who entered her residence.

According to Elk Grove Police, the 56-year old woman was asleep in her residence's bedroom on the 6500 block of Casto Verde Way as two unknown males entered through an unlocked door. The victim found the two suspects in her bedroom who demanded personal property.

After complying with the demands, one of the suspects tied the victim's hands behind her back, placed her in a closet and searched the residence for property before fleeing. After the suspects fled, the victim, who was unhurt, was able to contact police who were unable to locate the two suspects who were described as black males.
