Tip an Elk Grove Cop, Help a Kid

Tomorrow night members of the Elk Grove Police Department will be hustling tables at Leatherby's Family Creamery for a good cause.

Members of the EGPD will work as celebrity servers from 5 to 9 p.m. delivering food and drinks and will donate all the tips to the Special Olympics. The funds will help fund local Special Olympics athletes and provide year round engagement and training for participants. Additionally, the regular staff members of Leatherby's have also volunteered to donate their tips.
