An Elk Grove teenager was arrested Wednesday evening after he allegedly beat another teen unconscious.
According to Elk Grove Police, the 16-year old male suspect was involved in a verbal argument with a 17-year old male on the 5800 block of Laguna Trail Way. As the argument escalated into a physical confrontation, the 16-year old reportedly punched the victim several times in the face to the point he was unconscious.
The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment and the suspect was booked into juvenile hall on aggravated battery charges.
