Elk Grove Youth Arrested, Charged With Battery

A 14-year old Elk Grove male was arrested early last night after he allegedly assaulted his victim twice in recent days.

On Saturday, January 25, the suspect and his victim were in a verbal argument that escalated to physical altercation. During the altercation, the suspect allegedly struck his victim on the left side of her body resulting in an injury that required medical treatment. 

Yesterday, that victim from the Saturday incident attempted to break up a fight between the same suspect and his siblings. When the victim attempted to intervene, the suspect forced her to the ground and punched her in the chest several times. 

The vicitm suffered a visible injury. The suspect was taken into custody and taken to juvenile hall.
