Elk Grove Police arrested two suspects this weekend on suspicion of drunk driving.

On Saturday night, 31-year old Samantha Burks of Fairfield was involved in a collision on the 10000 block of Blossom Ridge Drive. Upon contact the suspect displayed objective signs of impairment, failed a field sobriety tests, was arrested and booked into the county jail.

Police also arrested 23-year old Cheyenne Bell of Carmichael on Sunday night after she allegedly drove her car over a median near the intersection of Calvine and Power Inn roads. Upon contact with officers, the suspect  displayed objective signs of impairment, performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.
