EGPD Questioning Three Individuals of Interest in Armed Robbery

10:55 p.m., According to Elk Grove Police, "After further investigation, the 3 individuals detained were identified and released. No arrests made."

Elk Grove Police are questioning three individuals in connection to an armed robbery that happened earlier tonight in Elk Grove.

According to Elk Grove Police tweets, three unknown suspects staged an armed robbery about two hours ago near Big Horn Boulevard and Village Tree Drive. Sources tell EGN that the robbery occurred at the Century Laguna Theaters, but police have not confirmed the exact location.

The three people currently detained have not been arrested as of this posting. Sacramento County Sheriff's helicopter have been deployed in the search for the suspects.
