Man Robbed at Gunpoint in Elk Grove

A man was robbed at gunpoint late Tuesday night in Elk Grove.

According to Elk Grove Police reports, the 21-year old victim was sitting in his car on the 3000 block of Riparian Drive when he was approached by an unknown person asking for help. When the victim left his car, the suspect displayed a handgun and told him to place all his property on the ground and to lay down.

After complying with the demands, the suspect took all the property and fled the area. The suspect was described as a black male adult, in his 20's, 5'7", 190 lbs, with dark skin, wearing a dark colored baseball hat, gray sweatshirt with a hood and blue jeans.

The victim was not injured.
