Elk Grove Police arrested two sleeping suspects early Monday morning who were sought in connection with a burglary at an area high school.

According to police reports, 18-year old Marvin Boyd of Elk Grove and 18-year old Ashlee Barnes of Modesto were detained after they were found sleeping in a car that did not belong to them on the 8700 block of Center Parkway in Sacramento. The two men were believed to have been responsible for a Sunday night burglary at Laguna Creek High School in Elk Grove that was being investigated by the Sacramento Sheriff Department.

The two suspects were handed over to the sheriff's department who arrested them and booked them into the county jail. Barnes is being held on a $11,000 bail while there is no bail information currently available on Boyd.
