A man who robbed an Elk Grove donut shop on new year's eve day in 2012 was sentenced yesterday to 35-years to life under the state's three strikes law. Newsom pled to felony robbery charges and was sentenced by Judge Michael Sweet.
On December 31, 2012, Marcus Newsom entered an Elk Grove donut shop and demanded the store
owner to give him money from the cash register. Newsom was wearing a cap and held an object
inside his jacket that appeared to be a gun. Once the register was open, Newsom grabbed the
money and ran from the store.
Newsom’s criminal history dates back to 1999, including four prior felony robbery convictions for which he was sentenced to 14 years in prison. He was out of prison custody just seven months before he committed the donut shop robbery.

Another two million taxpayer dollars down the toilet to take care of that douche.
I never saw the guy but I hear he had a glazed look in his eye and was described as being old fashioned, carrying with him, his lucky bear wherever he went.
