Masked Gunman Robs Elk Grove Gas Station

An Elk Grove gas station was robbed at gunpoint early Friday morning.

According to Elk Grove Police, a masked gunman entered the Chevron station on West Taron Drive on the city's west side and confronted an employee. The suspect grabbed cash from an open cash drawer and fled on foot.

The suspect was described as a black male adult, 5'8", 150 lbs., wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans with a black mask covering his face. Responding officers were unable to locate the suspect.
