Elk Grove Police Spot Stolen Car, Suspect Arrested

A Sacramento man was arrested early Tuesday morning after a patrol officer spotted a reported stolen car.

According to Elk Grove Police, 18-year old Latorren Bayone was observed operating a car on the 8900 block of Springhurst Drive that had been reported stolen in West Sacramento. An enforcement stop was initiated and officers ordered the suspect out of the vehicle.

A records check found Bayone had an outstanding felony arrest warrant. The suspect was arrested and booked into the county jail where he remains in custody ineligible for bail.
