Five Day Christmas Holiday Relatively Calm for EGPD

For the five day period that included Christmas Day and ending yesterday, Elk Grove Police experienced a relatively normal number of criminal arrests.

Among the arrests made were six for suspicion of driving under the influence, one for public intoxication and three for domestic violence. 

Among the notable arrests, on Christmas morning police detained 37-year old Danielle McClure and 33-year old David Yang, both of Sacramento. The duo were contacted on the 8100 block of Poppy Ridge Road where it was discovered the car they were in had been reported stolen.
