Two Victims Robbed at Gunpoint Early Sunday Morning in Elk Grove

A man and woman were robbed at gunpoint by three men early Sunday morning in Elk Grove.

According to Elk Grove Police, the 27-year old male and 34-year old female were standing near their vehicles on the 8400 block of Elk Grove-Florin Road shortly after 2 a.m. when they were approached by three suspects. One of the suspects brandished a gun and ordered them to the ground.

The gunman took property from the victims while another suspect rummaged through the male victim’s car and took a backpack and purse.

The suspects fled the scene in a gold Mercedes northbound on Elk Grove-Florin Rd. The gunman was described as a black male adult, in his 20′s, 6’2″, 170 lbs., wearing a black hoodie, the second was described as a black male adult in his 20′s, 5’5″, 160 lbs. and the third black male adult in his 20′s, 5’11″ with a medium build.
